At this point in time, nurse practice has been more in demand than doctors and surgeons. For some reason, the number of registered and licensed nurses all around the world has dramatically decreased, while the need of caretakers also arises. A lot of countries in the first world are in high scarcity of skilled nurses and most of them are turning to the second and third world countries for help on the said insufficiency.
That’s why in most universities and colleges most Asian countries, nursing courses have the most number of students at the present time. A lot of families and individuals are hoping to gain access to the world of nursing because in their minds, it will be their only hope to get away from the fangs of poverty. Though the results of being a nurse could be really beneficial, a lot of graduates still end up being stuck in the reality that nursing is not for them, while others just can’t continue with their goals because they cannot pass the licensure examinations… some sad facts that a lot of people find out the hard way. At this point, for incoming university students, I think it would be wise if they choose their degrees very carefully, and not just follow trends. The key to success cannot be achieved by always choosing the popular choice, but by the way we handle things when trials strike us in our safest sanctities.
